New Assistant-Principal for the 2017-2018 school year

We would like to congratulate Dana Pikkert on being appointed Assistant-Principal for the 2017-2018 school year.
Dana Pikkert is a graduate of the University of Alberta Collaborative Program and the Bachelor of Education in the Middle Years Program at Red Deer College. Dana is currently enrolled in the Masters in Education Program from the University of Prince Edward Island with a focus on 21st-century learning.
For the past 12 years, she has been with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools as a middle school and elementary teacher. She has taught at St. Thomas Aquinas Middle School, St. Elizabeth Seton School and Father Henri Voisin School.
She is a literacy and inclusion leader within our Division and is leading the Barbara Mariconda writing program at Father Henri Voisin School. Dana and her family attend St. Mary’s Parish and has taught in the Children's’ Liturgy Program.
May God continue to bless what Dana brings to Catholic education.
